Marketing for Sports and Entertainment

    Welcome to Marketing for Sports and Entertainment with Utah’s Electronic High School.

    Marketing is an expansive field that covers industries from advertising to travel and tourism, from retail to sports and entertainment, from real estate to Internet marketing. Students will learn skills in developing, promoting, and distributing products in order to satisfy customer needs and wants. This is a basic introductory course that will teach marketing concepts via the sports industry. Sports marketing will help the student develop a thorough understanding of the marketing concepts and theories that apply to sports and events. The areas that this course will cover include sponsorship, distribution, pricing, market research, segmentation, endorsements, event management, marketing plans, and promotion.
